He told police that his girlfriend had called to tell him she was going to harm herself. The victim immediately called her family members to let them know. Apparently they all began calling the girlfriend to make sure she was okay.

About an hour later the victim’s doorbell rang and the girlfriend’s father was on the porch with two other men who the victim thinks were his girlfriend’s uncles.

They proceeded to beat him up he told police. The assault stopped when his mother opened the door.

Police were unable to locate the suspects. The incident is under investigation.
