  • Wednesday, October 9, 2013

Community activist Louis Smith has announced a press conference for Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Summerville Town Hall.

Smith says he will announce plans for a March Against Violence slated for October 20. He also will request that law enforcement “reopen cold cases for three victims of violence – David Laron Boone, 2003; John Elliot Hancock, 2012; and Don’ta Marquan Pringle, 2013.”

“These families need closure and justice,” said Smith.

The march and rally begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday October 20 and culminates in Wassamassaw Park. More information will be available at the press conference.
