Keep curtains closed

Not much to look at

Summerville Police responded to the Atlanta Bread Company September 23. The manager told them that he had received a complaint from a female customer that a black male, wearing gym shorts, was opening and closing his legs, exposing his genitals. He told police this was a few weeks before, but that on September 23 the same customer told him the same male, sat in front of her wearing gym shorts. She immediately got up and informed the manager, who called police. The man left the restaurant and drove off in a blue Chevy S-10 pickup truck. The woman told police the subject always pretends to read a newspaper while he is exposing himself.

Escalation

Dorchester deputies responded to a shots fired call on Margaret Dr., in Ladson. When they arrived, they were told that while driving, two men got into a verbal altercation. The driver pulled over, got out of the car and pulled a gun.

The other man got behind a woman and told the “gunman” “he would have to shoot her too.”

The “gunman” told police he had pulled over because the other man had punched him in the head. He told deputies after he had pulled over, the other man grabbed the woman by the throat and started choking her. Because the woman was pregnant and the man was threatening to kill her, he fired his weapon in defense of the woman. The other man released the woman and came after the “gunman” with a blunt object.

The man with the gun had a Concealed Weapons Permit but gave police his gun. Deputies recovered one spent round and five unfired rounds. All were entered into evidence. The incident is under investigation.
