Noel Francis Bostain of Butler, TN, passed Saturday, October 12, 2013. He lived with grace, died with dignity and is now healed. Mr. Bostain was born December 25, 1952 in Miami, FL. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 42 years, Leslie Ford Bostain of the home. Mr. and Mrs. Bostain have two daughters, Brittany Noel Sepeda of Charleston, SC and Bernadette Rose Smallwood of Columbia, SC, three dear grandchildren; Brandon Pierce Soileau, Madison Noel Soileau both of Natchitoches, LA and Abigail Rose Smallwood of Columbia, SC.
Mr. Bostain was a graduate of Summerville High School class of 1972. He was a caretaker at Millbrook Plantation of Hwy. 61 in Charleston, SC for 20 years. He also worked at General Electric Plant in Ladson, SC and Robert Bosch Corp. in Charleston, SC. He was a Journeyman Structural Ironworker with Local Union 601 in Charleston, SC and retired from civil service from the Charleston Naval Shipyard.
Mr. Bostain was one of six sons born to Master Gunnery Sergeant James E. Bostain and Freda Jean Owens Bostain, both deceased, of Summerville, SC. Mr. Bostain was also preceded in death by one older brother, Jacob Lee Bostain. Remaining brothers Edward Dale Bostain of Beaufort, SC; William Griffin Bostain of Hickory, NC; James M. Bostain and Frederick Eugene Bostain, both of Summerville, SC.
Mr. Bostain left this world at peace with God, repented for his sins and prayed for a better world for the loved ones he left behind. Thank you to all our many friends and family for the heart felt offers during these difficult times. It was Mr. Bostain’s wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
