On Wednesday, Oct. 9 around 3 p.m., a man entered the First Citizens Bank on North Parer Ave., in St. George and handed a note to the teller. The note, according to the incident report, said to give him the money or he would kill them.
The man then picked up the note and left the bank.
St. George Police stated a short time later a subject, idetified as Aaron Kinte Britt was located matching the description on Sears Street. Police detained him.
He was identified by bank personnel and video surveillance.
Britt is 21 and from Reevesville.
The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
