Monday, October 21, 9:15 a.m.: Beginning Spanish – Member Marcos Villacreses

Tuesday, October 22, 9:45 a.m.: Blogging – Mason VanTassel, instructor: A blog (a contraction of the words web log) is a discussion or informational site published on the World Wide Web and consisting of discrete entries (“posts”) typically displayed in reverse chronological order. With a Blog, you can share your thoughts on the World Wide Web and control who sees and comments on them. Create different pages and looks (just like a web site). Talk about whatever subjects you wish, share recipes, whatever. You can even have these posted to Facebook and Twitter with better control over who sees and responds. Must have an email address and access to internet.
Wednesday, October 23, 10:15 a.m.: “Showtime Classee Cloggers” – Led by our own Julia Tourtellotte, these ladies have worked hard learning intricate steps during the Wednesday afternoon clogging class. Come see them strut their stuff as they dance for us at this special performance.
Thursday, October 24, 10 a.m.: Nutrition Series – Jean Muller is a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist recently retired from Summerville Medical Center. She will be teaching monthly classes on eating to stay healthy.
This month she will discuss “Fabulous Fiber.” She will cover what is fiber, what fiber does to help us stay healthy, how much fiber we need and how to get it in our meals and snacks.
Friday, October 25, 2 p.m.: Game Group – Meets Fridays. (No class Oct. 18th due to Silent Auction) Bring your favorite board game and come join us for some fun & socialization. New members welcome.
