Anderson, Robert Eldon

Robert Eldon Anderson, 83, husband of Gloria Infinger Anderson, of Summerville, SC passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Hospice Center in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Funeral Services were held at Bethany United Methodist Church on Tuesday morning, October 29, 2013 at 11 o’clock. Burial followed in Summerville Cemetery. The family received friends Monday evening from 6 – 8 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home.

Robert was born March 14, 1930 in Summerville, SC, a son of the late Bradford Eric Anderson and Josephine Sanders Anderson. He was a tax accountant. Mr. Anderson was also a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Gloria Anderson of Summerville; one son, James E. Anderson (Chrissy) of Summerville; one sister, Helen Anderson Waring Tovey of Summerville; children, Lee Ann Terry and Lynda Smith (Guy), all of Summerville, Christi Phillips (Todd) of Ridgeville; Allen Knight (Cynthia) of Alabama; grandchildren, Tradd Andrew Anderson and Lauren Michelle Anderson, both of Clemson, Ryan and Blake Smith, Allen Terry and Kellie Collins, Erin and A.J. Knight; four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased in death by his first wife, Barbara Stall Anderson, his brother, Eric Anderson and his sister, Betty Jo Sedivy Waring.
