Summerville Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying an armed robbery suspect involved in an attempted robbery at both Target in Azalea Square and the Shoe Department in North Main Market at approximately 2:50 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31.

The suspect, who was described as a black male, presented a handgun to a manager at Target and wanted access to the safe. The suspect left the store before he could complete the robbery.

About 40 minutes later the same suspect went to the Shoe Department and pointed a black handgun at an employee and demanded money.
