“TD Bank is committed to supporting organizations that strive to improve the quality of life for the community,” said Dixon Woodward, Coastal Carolinas Market President, TD Bank. “We are happy to support the services and activities that the American Red Cross offers, that make life better for us all.”

The American Red Cross Palmetto SC Region assisted 5,689 individuals affected by disaster last year. It also trained 28,248 people in lifesaving skills, such as CPR/AED and First Aid, sent 6,710 emergency messages to members of the armed forces and their families and distributed 119,735 units of blood to area hospitals.

“The vital services we provide in our communities are made possible because of the generosity of supporters like TD Bank,” Williams said. “Supporters like TD Bank enable the American Red Cross to be there whenever and wherever we are needed.“

The Palmetto SC Region, made up of seven Red Cross chapters spanning 35-counties in South Carolina, touches 1 in 12 lives in our communities every year and responds to a disaster every 6.5 hours.
