SPD, Metro Narcotics bust meth lab

  • Wednesday, November 6, 2013

Summerville Police received a complaint about meth being cooked in Apt. 323 at 325 Marymeade Drive.

On Oct. 24, the Summerville Police Department/Dorchester County Metro Narcotics conducted surveillance on the apartment and detained Kristi Brooke Lowder, 26, and William Parker Sekula, 23, when they were outside of the apartment so it would be safer for everyone when they executed the search warrant.

Police found an active one-pot methamphetamine cook inside the apartment along with other evidence of methamphetamine manufacturing.

Both Lowder and Parker were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

Due to the potential hazard, all of the residents on that side of the apartment building were evacuated while police processed the scene.
