Almost Main at ARHS

Fri., Nov. 8 • 7 p.m.

The Ashley Ridge High School Theatre Department will be performing Almost Maine, by John Cariani. It is directed by Allison Zobel.

Performances are in the Ashley Ridge High School Auditorium from November 7 to 9. Curtain is at 7 p.m.

Tickets will be sold at the door. Cost is $5 for students with a valid ID and $7 for adults.

Our Town at SHS

Fri., Nov. 8, 9, • 7 p.m.

Our Town at Summerville High School. Runs through Nov. 9. Admission for adults and children is $3 at the door. Dorchester District Two employees are admitted free with identification. Concessions will be sold during intermissions.

Scottish American Military Society

An evening with C.S. Lewis

Sun., Nov. 17, at 6 p.m.,

A one-man show, featuring one of Britain’s renowned actors, Howard Burnham, honors 50th anniversary of author’s death to raise funds for Pass the Legacy.

The presentation will include readings from three of Lewis’ most revered works and a Pub style supper.

Pass the Legacy is a ministry designed to increase the health of relationships to know and serve Jesus Christ.

Proceeds will help the organization underwriting and publish conference materials. The performance will be at St. Paul’s Church,

Let’s Paws and Give Thanks

Hearing Care of Summerville will thank its patients for another wonderful year together!

By hosting a Patient Appreciation Drop-In featuring free video otoscopy and clinic time, half price batteries, delicious food, door prizes and treats. During November Hearing Care of Summerville will accept donations of pet food and supplies all month long to benefit the Frances R. Willis SPCA and Pet Helpers.

We are having a Health Care workshop on the health care reform bill and how it will effect individuals and business’.

We will demonstrate and help people with the exchange and how it works.
