Claim of shots fired, no evidence found

  • Friday, November 15, 2013

Summerville Police were called to a residence on West 3rd North St., in Brownsville, Summerville, around 7:18 p.m., for a report of shots fired. They were told that five gang members had arrived at the residence and knocked on the back door. When the resident opened the front door, the suspects asked to see an individual. One of the suspects told the woman his name was “Diesel.” The person they wanted told the woman that the man was the person who had assaulted him at the Kangaroo earlier that day.

The woman told police “the little white boy pulled out a gun,” and they ran inside. She said she heard five shots and then the suspects left the scene.

Police did not observe any shell casings or damage to the residence. The man they were searching for was unable to speak clearly because of an injury to his mouth from the earlier assault.
