Beech Hill honors veterans

Provided From left, Kymburli Flood, Emma Page, Savannah Coburn, Trey Bass, Alexa Jamieson, Xakery Jamieson, Maggie O'Brien and Winston Grant, winning essay writers, wave flags in honor of veterans. Beech Hill Elementary hosted its annual Veteran's Day celebration on Nov. 10, honoring more than 150 veterans in the school's festivities. Part of the celebration included 3rd, 4th and 5th grade student speakers who read their winning essays about a variety of Patriotic topics, including "My American Hero" and "What it means to be an American."
