Teens burglarize Gregg Middle

  • Wednesday, December 4, 2013

A 15-year-old, three 13-year olds and a 12-year old were arrested for burglarizing Gregg Middle School on Nov. 17. Summerville Police responded to the school on Nov. 18 for a report of a burglary that had occurred the previous day – a Sunday – and were able to see the suspects on the school surveillance video.

Police watched the five suspects entering and exiting the school through the back doors of the building. They stole soda, candy and other items. The assistant principal was able to identify four of the five as three were students and the fourth a previous student. He was able to get the identity of the fifth from one of the other suspects.

The juveniles were charged with 2nd degree burglary and transported to SPD for fingerprinting and photographing.
