Mon., Dec. 9, 10 a.m. – Safety Seminar and Light Brunch. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority has partnered with the National Center on Elder Abuse’s Ageless Alliance to bring awareness and education to the community about elder abuse.
Lambda Nu Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. has embraced this vision and is committed to helping elderly in need. The Lambda Nu Zeta Chapter will host an educational brunch on safety and fraud. The speakers for this event will be Phelicia Wright, an Adult Protective Services case manager from Dorchester County Department of Social Services, and Corporal Ricarda Fowler from Summerville Police Department.
Tues., Dec. 10, 1 p.m. – Bocce Ball. Come and try out this new outdoor group activity, formed by popular demand.
This is a great opportunity to learn how to play the game and have a little competitive fun.
Wed., Dec. 11, 10:15 a.m. – Bible Study. Ms.Trophelia Ajala leads a non-denominational Bible Study. All faiths are welcome.
Thurs., Dec. 12, 10 a.m. – “Just Good Enough Music.” This popular Christian music group will be visiting the center to perform “sing-a-long” Christmas music.
Fri., Dec. 13, 10:15 a.m. – Old Fort Baptist Choir: Members of the Old Fort Baptist Church Choir will be visiting us to perform Christmas songs for us.
