Tickets are on sale now for the next Summerville Dorchester Museum event.
This event is in collaboration with The Friends of The Summerville Library. The Very Merry Players, a performing troupe that presents historic and period theater, will present a unique telling of the beloved story, by Charles Dickens. A cast of 15 adults and children, along with Violinist, John Cordes, will delight you with an evening of theater, music, and song.
On Dec. 13 and 14, at Rollings School Auditorium, The Rollings Bell Choirs and John Cordes will join the players for the show.
On Dec. 20, at St. John the Belovedís Madden Hall, John Cordes will provide the music for the evening. Tickets are $10 for the play all three evenings.
Each night after the play the Summerville Dorchester Museum at 100 Doty St. will host a Fezziwig Party. Delight in delicious desserts, wassail, and celebrate the season with music and song. Tickets for the play and party $20.
Look for the cast of Scrooge in the Summerville Parade on Dec. 8. Meet Mr. Scrooge and Tiny Tim as they walk down Main Street.
Proceeds benefit the Summerville Dorchester Museum and The Friends of the Summerville Library.
