Mon., Dec.16, 9:15 a.m. – Beginning Spanish - Member Marcos Villacreses teaches beginner conversational Spanish. Marcos is from Ecuador.

Tues., Dec. 17, 9:45 a.m. – Walking Club. Walking is one of the easiest ways to get the exercise you need to stay healthy. Walk to strengthen your heart, lungs, and muscles, help lower blood pressure and maintain a healthy weight, and also to improve your mood and increase your energy level. Group meets in the lobby and walks at Doty Park. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Wed., Dec. 18, 10 a.m. – Summerville Mothers & More Christmas Carols - Members of Summerville Mothers & More will drop by with their tots for a visit with some caroling and cookies.

Thurs., Dec. 19, 10 a.m. – Nutrition Series - Jean Muller is a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist. She teaches monthly classes on eating to stay healthy. This month’s topic is “Salt and Sodium Sense.” She will cover why salt and sodium can be harmful, how much is enough, hidden sources of salt, how to read labels to discover the sodium and how to make food taste great without salt.

Fri., Dec. 20, 1 p.m. – Creative Crafters. The Creative Crafters meet monthly to make items from donated supplies to sell in the Gift Shop. All supplies will be provided. Please join us on Friday, December 6 and Friday, December 20, 1 to 3 p.m. All proceeds are used to support the services and programs at Dorchester Seniors.

Zumba Gold, Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m. Watch for information on a free intro class to be held in January.
