Cumbie, Green to marry in spring ceremony

Jennie Elizabeth Cumbie and George Francis Green, Jr.

Jennie Elizabeth Cumbie of Summerville and George Francis Green, Jr., of Summerville are engaged to be married on March 22, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Charleston.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Deryel Cumbie of Summerville. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Leila McPherson and the late Mr. Nelson McPherson of Moncks Corner, and Mr. John Cumbie and the late Mrs. Bonnie Cumbie of Moncks Corner.

The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Chad and Joy Huber of Hanahan and Mr. George Green of Murray, Ky. He is the grandson of Mr. William McCormick and the late Mrs. Joan McCormick of Hanahan, and Mr. and Mrs. James and Patsy Green of Murray, Ky.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Pinewood Preparatory School and 2011 graduate of Clemson University. She is employed as the Finance Manager of Orangeburg Automotive in Orangeburg, S.C.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Stratford High School. He is employed as the Service Manager of Orangeburg Nissan in Orangeburg, S.C.
