Meetings planned for Habitat program

Two Application Meetings for families interested in the Dorchester Habitat for Humanity’s Homeownership Program are planned for Thurs., Jan. 30 and Mon., Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. at the Summerville Branch of the Dorchester County Library located at 76 Old Trolley Road, Summerville.

The Application Meetings are the only means for interested families to obtain an application for the Homeownership Program. Applicants must have lived and/or worked in Dorchester County for at least one year. The other requirements of the Homeownership Program are explained in detail during the Meetings. Each Meeting last approximately one hour with staff members and volunteers available after the Meeting to answer any personal questions interested families may have.
