Items stolen: Cargo trailer

Total value: $6,000

Incident report details: The complainant told deputies that his black 2014 Diamond cargo trailer – 8 feet wide, 14 feet long and 9 feet tall with tandem axles and no fenders – was stolen from his business. The trailer was later located at a business on Mt. Pleasant St., in Charleston. Police are viewing surveillance video from the Thorpe Dr., address as well as neighboring business’s video.

Location: Lakes of Summerville, Judith Dr., Summerville

Date: Dec. 15 – 16, 2013

Time of day: 7 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Items stolen: Travel trailer

Total value: $11,000

Incident report details: Deputies responded to a complaint that the victim’s travel trailer had been stolen from the area the Lakes of Summerville provide for residents to keep their trailers and boats. The victim told police he last saw the trailer on Dec. 15 and when he drove by the area on Dec. 16, it was gone. He said he had been thinking of purchasing a lock for the hitch but that it had been unsecured. The trailer is a maroon, pinstripe Keystone Zepplin. Charleston County deputies recovered the trailer, Dec. 31, on Savannah Highway in Ravenel.

Location: Brandywine Dr., Summerville

Date: Dec. 12 – 17, 2013

Time of day: noon to 10 a.m.

Items stolen: Travel trailer

Total value: $30,000

Incident report details: Deputies responded to a report of a stolen trailer from a storage lot. The victim told deputies he had driven by the lot on Dec. 17 a saw the gate was open. He drove through the lot a saw that his off-white Keystone Bullet travel trailer was missing. Deputies saw a cut lock on the ground by the entry gate as well as tire tracks. Crime scene responded. On Dec. 31, Charleston County detectives recovered the trailer on Savannah Highway in Ravenel.
