Licensed/ordained ministers, evangelists, teachers, and lay women discerning their call to ministry are invited to attend Look and Live Ministries’ inaugural Women in Ministry Fellowship on March 21-22.
Invited speakers are:
• Pastor Cheryl Moore Adamson, M.Div., founding pastor of Palmetto Missionary Baptist
Church in Conway, and board chairperson and founder of Palmetto Works Community Development Corporation.
• Rev. Shaquisha “Kiki” Barnes, M.Div., a hospice and acute care chaplain and an associate minister at Union Baptist Church in Durham, N.C.
Psalmist Keisha Kennedy-Merritt of Lancaster, S.C., will minister in music.
The gathering will be held at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church at 2900 Appleton Ave, in North Charleston.
The fellowship will begin with an informal meet-and-greet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday with the Saturday session convening at 8:30 a.m.
Registration for the Fellowship is $50.
There will also be a time for attendees to share their call narratives. A memorial will be done for church women and female ministers who contributed to the spiritual formation of others.
