Due to hazardous weather conditions being forecast by the National Weather Service, Dorchester School District Two will dismiss schools on an early release schedule on Tuesday, January 28.
Winter weather conditions with icy precipitation is being predicted to arrive in the area as early as late tomorrow morning. Schools will be dismissed on the following schedules:
• Givhans Alternative Program 9:30 a.m.
• Elementary Schools 10:30 a.m.
• High Schools 11:30 a.m.
• Middle Schools 12:30 p.m.
Rollings Middle School Noon
All pre-k and mid-day programs are cancelled along with after school and evening
activities. Extended day will be open until 2 p.m.
A decision on the school schedule for Wednesday, January 29th will be made on or before late afternoon on Tuesday when more information is available from the National Weather Service. Parents are encouraged to monitor local media reports.
