Orchestra to perform

The Summerville Community Orchestra’s next concert, “Good Vibrations,” will take place next week.

The performances will take place Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Northwood Baptist Church (2200 Greenridge Rd. in North Charleston), and Jan. 31 at 7:30 pm. at Summerville Baptist Church.

The concert is the second in the MWV Subscription Series and is sponsored by Jarrard, Nowell & Russell, LLC, CPAs.

The program includes:

•Beach Boys

•Sounds of Simon & Garfunkel

•Star Wars

•Mendelssohn Italian Symphony

On Jan. 31 only, the Rollings Middle School of the Arts Orchestra will begin the program.

Pre-Concert Talks about the music will also take place before both concerts, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The talks are free to ticketholders.

Tickets are $10 for adults and free for those under 18. Single tickets are available at www.SummervilleOrchestra.com, by phone at (843) 873-5339, and at the door beginning at 6 p.m.the night of the performances.
