Macy Lee Driggers of Marion, S.C. and Daniel Hampton Poaps of Summerville are engaged to be married on May 31, 2014 at Wildberry Farm in Marion, S.C.
The bride is the daughter of Vincent and Sylvia Driggers of Marion, S.C. She is the granddaughter of the late Clifton and Dixie Collins of Mullins, S.C., and the late Laurie and Alva Mae Driggers of Marion, S.C.
The bridegroom is the son of Sharon Sellers of Summerville and Scott Poaps of Summerville. He is the grandson of Peggy Weeks of Harleyville, S.C., the late Wilbur Weeks, Diane Poaps Merrickville of Ontario, Canada and the late Douglas Poaps.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Aynor High School and 2013 graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in food science and nutrition. She currently attends the Medical University of South Carolina Dental School.
The bridegroom is a 2009 graduate of Pinewood Preparatory School, and a 2013 graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in environmental science. He is employed by Bartlett Tree Experts in Charleston.
