Local students make Dean’s List

Coastal Carolina University

Coastal Carolina University has announced the following local students who have made the Deanís List:

Kate Antor, Alexander Baum, Daniela Corona, Jeffery Dawson, Anna Elsesser, Brandon Jones, Julietta Marks, Andrew Matsko, Lauren Meyers, Amy Powers, Amy Reeves, Ashby Williamson and Emily Murray of Summerville; and Leandra Hurlbert and Shawn Peace of Ladson.

To qualify for the Deanís List, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average. To qualify for the Presidentís List, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average. All students must be enrolled full time.

Furman University

The following Furman University students from Summerville made the Deanís List for the 2013 fall semester. The list is composed of full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher on a four-point system.

Alexander Armock, the son of Kristi McIntyre-Armock and Scott Armock; Selimah Harmon, daughter of Elizabeth Harmon and Dr. Kendall Harmon; Charlotta Holt, daughter of Mr. and Ms. Blaine Holt; Brent Patteson, son of Landon Patteson; Kelly Spencer, daughter of Renee Spencer and Jeffrey Spencer; Kathleen Windsor, daughter of Brenda Windsor and Jeff Windsor; and Joseph Zanghi, son of Cheryl Zanghi and Joseph Zanghi.
