Buddin, Bergeron to marry this spring

Laura Livingston Buddin and Shawn Michael Bergeron

Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Eugene Buddin, Jr., of Summerville, South Carolina are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Livingston Buddin, to Shawn Michael Bergeron of Summerville. Mr. Bergeron is the son of Mr. Michael Girard Bergeron of Summerville and Mr. and Mrs. Paul David Steely of North Charleston, South Carolina.

Miss Buddin is a 2004 graduate of Summerville High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of South Carolina. She is employed as a project analyst by BAE Systems in North Charleston.

Mr. Bergeron is a 2002 graduate of Summerville High School and is a driver at United Parcel Service in Summerville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Burroughs Livingston of Summerton, South Carolina and the late Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Eugene Buddin, Sr., of Summerville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Bryan Witmore of Ipswich, Suffolk, the United Kingdom, the late Mr. Ronald Stanley Kerry of Colchester, Essex, the United Kingdom, Mrs. Gerald Adelard Bergeron of Summerville, and the late Mr. Gerald Adelard Bergeron of Dayton, Ohio.

The wedding is planned for May 3, 2014 at Bethany United Methodist Church in Summerville.
