Flowertown Players host cabaret fundraiser

  • Friday, February 7, 2014

The Flowertown Players will host its cabaret fundraiser on Feb. 8 at 8 p.m.

This “pay-what-you-will” performance was created by volunteers. The goal of the cabaret is to raise funds to help the theater continue to provide a venue for theatrical creation. The performance will explore the varied aspects of love and try to finish the statement, “Love is...?”

The performance will feature classic and contemporary songs, dances and monologues performed by some of your favorite Flowertown Players, including Jar of Hearts, excerpts from Wicked, a tribute to the military, Love Shack and more.

Tickets will be available for purchase from 12 - 6 p.m. and 7 - 8 p.m. on Feb. 7 and 8.

Ticket costs are up to you; the suggested donation is $10 per seat but you can pay more or less with “pay-what-you-will.”

Extras include one complementary glass of wine for guests of age, access to the bake sale and a chance to win show tickets in a raffle.
