May wedding for Lisenby, Calvert

Chelsie Marie Lisenby and Sloan Andrew Calvert

Chelsie Marie Lisenby of Summerville and Sloan Andrew Calvert of Greenwood, S.C., are engaged to be married on May 10, 2014 at Oakley Farms.

The bride is the daughter of Rev. Elijah Eugene Lisenby, Jr., and Janet Robertson Lisenby of Summerville. She is the granddaughter of Otis Lee Robertson and Reba Hadwin Robertson of Summerville, Bernice Nobles Lisenby of Cordesville, S.C., and the late Rev. Elijah Eugene Lisenby, Sr.

The bridegroom is the son of Charles Randall Calvert and Kelly Cox Calvert of Greenwood, S.C. He is the grandson of Hilda Cox of Greenwood, S.C., the late Warren G. Cox, Marion Calvert of Greenwood, S.C., and the late Ralph Charles Calvert.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Summerville High School and currently attends Trident Technical College. She is employed by Dorchester District Two in Summerville where she is the Head Varsity and Junior Varsity Softball Coach and Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach at Ashley Ridge High School.

The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Emerald High School, in Greenwood, S.C., 2007 graduate of Clemson University with a bachelorís degree in Genetics and a 2009 graduate of Clemson University with a masterís degree in Human Resource Development. He is currently enrolled at the Medical University of South Carolina in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, set to graduate in 2016.
