Kreber

The Journal Scene is pleased to announce the addition of Monica Kreber to its reporting staff.

Kreber returns to the Lowcountry from her position as a reporter for The Daily Journal in Seneca.

Growing up in Mt. Pleasant, she earned her degree in Mass Communications in 2012 from Winthrop University, and was an intern at the Moultrie News in Mt. Pleasant. She has already garnered reporting recognition from the South Carolina Press Association.

Kreber will be covering education as well as general news and features at the Journal Scene.

“We are thrilled to have Monica in Summerville,” said Editor Frank Johnson. “She is going to be an important part of our talented team of writers.”

“She has been here a week and already impressed us,” said A.M. Sheehan, managing editor.

Kreber can be reached at mkreber@journalscene.com.
