St. John the Beloved to host bluegrass concert

YeeHaw Junction will perform at St. John the Beloved on March 2 as a part of the church's concert series.

The Church of Saint John the Beloved (28 Sumter Ave, downtown Summerville) presents Charleston’s premier Bluegrass band, YeeHaw Junction in concert as part of the 2013-14 St. John the Beloved Concert Series on Sunday, March 2 at 4 p.m.

YeeHaw Junction of Charleston specializes in authentic Bluegrass music. This concert will include traditional Bluegrass music with acoustic instruments and singing.

YeeHaw Junction includes Jeff Meierer on mandolin and back-up vocals, his wife, Kristen Meierer on acoustic bass, David Brown on fiddle and baritone vocals, Don Pippins on rhythm guitar and lead and tenor vocals, and Michael Bruner on banjo.

This program is given as a gift to the community through the St. John the Beloved Concert Series. Donations will help to continue to support the concert series.
