Trident Technical College’s Summerville site at 449 Old Trolley Rd. is offering a variety of courses this spring in Environmental Compliance, Occupational Health and Safety and OSHA Compliance, as well as DOT Workshops.
Trident Technical College is approved to offer SC-DHEC-approved asbestos abatement training. These courses may be used for licensing as an asbestos abatement professional.
All books and materials are included in the course fee which ranges from $135-$475.
Classes include: Asbestos Supervisor (starts Feb. 17); Asbestos Management Planner Initial (starts March 20); Asbestos Worker Refresher (starts April 15); Asbestos O and M Refresher (starts April 15); Asbestos Supervisor Refresher (starts April 16); Asbestos Inspector Refresher (starts April 17); and Asbestos Management Planner Refresher (starts April 17).
Make sure you are prepared for the new Environmental Protection Agency regulatory mandate with the Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) classes which cost $259 and start March 11 and May 13.
The P/C Wastewater Certification Review Level C/D class begins March 24 and costs $375; books are not included.
The Wastewater Biological Level C/D class is also offered for $420 and begins April 14.
The DOT Hazmat Transportation and Security Awareness course begins April 9 and costs $195; training materials included.
Training materials are included in the $295 Certified Pool Operator 12-hour course that begins April 14.
Learn Forklift Training: Powered Industrial Trucks for $259. The course begins Feb. 17 and April 28.
The Hazwoper 8-hour Refresher course (starts March 28) costs $195.
The Hazwoper 24-hour Course (starts April 21) costs $465 and covers broad issues pertaining to hazard recognition at work sites.
The OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety course (starts March 19) costs $195.
The OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety course (starts March 19) costs $595 and the OSHA 30-hour General Industry Safety course (starts March 3) costs $595 with each designed for safety directors, foremen and field supervisors.
