Introducing the 2014 Men to Watch

  • Monday, February 24, 2014

Their stories may differ, and the paths that brought them here may vary, but the 2014 Men to Watch have common strands in the fabric of their DNA.
Service to others.
Love of family.
A commitment to excellence in their chosen fields.
And a dedication to the town they call home.
Welcome to the Journal Scene’s third annual Men to Watch special publication. It is a celebration to which we look forward every year; a celebration of 10 individuals, yes, but also to the common values of a community.
It is the community, after all, that nominates these honorees.
Learning about these men, reading their different stories, was the fun part. The difficult part was selecting the 10 finalists.
And it was difficult.
As is the case every year, the nominations came to us in droves. We appreciate the response – and we’re already looking forward to 2015, and the chance to choose 10 more Men to Watch.
To you, our readers, thank you. Thank you for bringing these 10 individuals to our attention so we in turn can show them off to the community at large. We hope you enjoy their stories as much as we did.
