Kassing honored at Trident

Don Kassing of Summerville pours his many talents into strengthening the Lowcountry community and serves as one of the leading individuals in philanthropic service in the tri-county area. Because of his great efforts, Kassing has earned Trident United Way’s Community Builder of the Year Award.

This past year, Kassing led Trident United Way’s Day of Caring, the largest community volunteering day in the Lowcountry. He has served as the Trident United Way campaign chair and board chair.

He is also a member of the board of trustees at Pinewood Preparatory School in Summerville.

Several other individuals and organizations were also recognized with Trident United Way awards for their outstanding volunteer efforts to the Charleston community.
