Provided The Summerville Saltwater Anglers filled this truck full of trash pulled from the Ashley River March 1 during the fishing club’s inaugural Ashley River Cleanup. Approximately 30 volunteers participated in the project. Shortly after the club was formed in 2011, it adopted a section of the Ashley River and partnered with SCDNR to build a new SSWA oyster reef. Club members recently added approximately 400 yards of new oyster reef to the area.
