From March 17-28, St. Paulís Church in Summerville will host their 10th annual all-volunteer Tea Room.
During the event, the church is transformed into a restaurant and gift shop. It takes nearly 250 volunteers to run.
In 2013, during the 11 days it was open, 3,320 meals were served bringing in $45,215 through food sales alone.
To date, St. Paulís Tea Room has raised $434,970, breaking the annual $50,000 mark for the first time in 2013 when they raised $56,750.
Income from the Tea Room enabled St. Paulís to cross the $1 million mark in giving to outreach over the past ten years.
St. Paulís Tea Room will be open 11:30 a.m. Ė 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday, March 17-28. Reservations are accepted for groups of eight or more and can be made by calling (843) 873-1991 between 9 a.m. Ė 4 p.m. In addition to take out meals they also offer delivery.
