Music club to hear classical performance

The Summerville Music Club will meet on Thurs., March 13, at 6 p.m. at the Village of Summerville in the Creative Arts Cener.

The Presa Chamber Ensemble will perform. The public is invited and the performance is free.

Presa is a chamber music group consisting of a flute and two double-reed players formed in 2012 by three members of the Summerville Orchestra. Presa’s repertoire runs the gamut from classical pieces written specifically for the flute, oboe, bassoon trio combination to other selections from traditional, pop, light classics, orchestral reductions, movie and television themes, video game music, contemporary original compositions and even rap music.

Presa is made up of Lisa Peters on the flute and piccolo, Sarah Teuscher on the oboe and English horn, and Jan Coldwell on the oboe, English horn and bassoon.
