The Summerville-Dorchester Museum invites the public to a Third Thursday History Talk Series given by Dr. Ed West.
This Third Thursday, March 20, the talk will be “The Healthiest Place in the World.”
Next month, on April 17, the topic will be “When the Swamp Angel Rattled Summerville.”
Admission for the event is $10 at the door.
The museum is posing a talk pre-test for those who will attend.
This month’s trivia question is: The reason that Summerville was known as the healthiest place in the world was A) no sailors were permitted within the town limits; B) government health care; or C) the pine trees.
The answer will be releaved at the talk on March 20.
The Summerville-Dorchester Museum is located at 100 E. Doty Ave.
