All the District Two baseball teams notched wins last week.
The Fort Dorchester baseball team swept a double header with Johnsonville Saturday. The Patriots earned a 3-0 win in the first game and an 8-2 victory in the second.
Joshua Murray had the pitching win in the first game, his first on the season. Ryan Thomas picked up his first pitching win of the season in the second game as the Patriots improved to 4-0. Johnsonville dropped to 2-2.
Eurndraus Bryant had a 3-run home run and finished the game with 5 RBIs.
On March 12, FD earned a 13-3 win over Battery Creek. Corey Rawlings threw a one-hitter and struck out nine batters. Cody Meree was 4 for 4 at the plate with 4 RBIs.
The Patriots host Hanahan Wednesday.
The Summerville baseball team earned a 14-2 win at Stratford March 13. Zach Mosay pitched four scoreless innings and was 2 for 2 at the plate with 2 RBIs.
Summerville improved to 3-1-1 on the season while Stratford dropped to 3-2.
The Green Wave plays at Berkeley Wednesday and hosts Bishop England at 6 p.m. Friday.
The Ashley Ridge baseball team lost 3-1 to West Ashley March 12. Ashley Ridge bounced back Friday, earning a 10-0 win over Bishop England to improve to 5-2 on the season. Aaron Miller was 2 for 3 at the plate with a homerun and two RBIs. Carson Walls had the win on the hill.
Ashley Ridge plays at James Island Friday.
The Swamp Fox boys’ tennis team earned a 4-2 win over Cane Bay March 12 to improve to 1-1.
The Ashley Ridge golf team finished with a 151 score March 12 to win against Beaufort (162), Fort Dorchester (163), Summerville (166) and Bluffton (168). Ashley Ridge’s Austin Zoller and Fort Dorchester’s RJ Keur both carded a 35 to share Low Medalist honors.
