Provided Electricianís Mate 2nd Class Matthew Sampson, left, from Goose Creek, teaches Capt. Joey Tynch, commanding officer, Amphibious Assault Ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) in the East China Sea, how to parallel generators using the electrical plant control panel aboard the ship. Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 31st MEU, is currently conducting joint force operations in the U.S. 7th Area of Responsibility.
