Meth lab on Old Golf Road

The Metro Narcotics Unit found several active and in-active methamphetamine “cooks” inside a Summerville residence Tuesday.

The unit executed a search warrant at 607 Old Golf Road “as a result of a methamphetamine investigation,” according to Cpt. Jon Rogers of Summerville Police Department.

Methamphetamine manufacturing and consumption equipment, along with meth itself, were also discovered.

Four suspects were arrested: Brandon M. Komara, 29, who Cpt. Rogers reported is on probation for manufacturing methamphetamine, was charged with distribution of methamphetamine and manufacturing methamphetamine; Russell D. Embry, Jr., 31, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine; Amanda M. Finkbeiner, 27, was arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine 2nd offense; and Shelly J. Flinchum, 51, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

Summerville Fire Department, its Haz Mat unit, and Dorchester County EMS also responded and assisted.
