Provided The Lions Clubs of Summerville and Goose Creek with Summerville Mayor Bill Collins.

The Lions Clubs of Summerville and Goose Creek took to the streets of Summerville on March 20 for Third Thursday to showcase what the clubs do for their communities.

Mayor Bill Collins was there to thank the Lions.

The Lions walked from Town Hall, through Hutchinson Square to Hwy 78 and back on Main Street.

The Lions provide glasses and hearing aids for those without the means of obtaining these. They also provide eye surgeries. The Health Van goes to schools around the state to test the elementary school children’s sight and hearing.

To obtain more information on how you can become a Lion, call George Jenkins, 879-9579 or David McIntosh, 871-1556.
