Lowcountry Muscle Car Club brings fast cars to festival

The Lowcountry Muscle Car Club Flowertown Festival Open Auto Show will take place Saturday, April 5 at Rollings Middle School.

Registration for the show, at 815 S. Main Street, beings at 8 a.m. Judging takes place from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Awards will be handed out at 2 p.m. There will be awards for the top 25 and for best in show. Food, beverages, face painting, t-shirts and more will be available.

There is a $20 entry fee for contestants and the show is free for spectators.

According to LMCC, a muscle car or truck must be built by an American manufacturer, have rear-wheel drive and be powered by a V-6, V-8 or V-10. It may be a kit car of American manufacture, such as a street rod or Cobra.
