Registration opens for Buc Club golf tournament

The Charleston Southern Athletic Department will host its 22nd annual Buc Club Corporate Cup Golf Tournament on April 23 at The Golf Club at Briarís Creek in Johns Island.

All proceeds from the event go to fund athletic scholarships at Charleston Southern University.

The cost of the tournament is $250 per player and $1,000 per team.

The tournament field is limited to the first 25 teams. The Captainís Choice tournament begins with an 11:30 a.m. shotgun start and registration opens at 10 a.m.

Prizes for the tournament include $2,000 in cash, courtesy of Stokes Honda North, for various contests including Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive. Team prizes and door prizes can also be won.

Lunch will be provided by Jersey Mikeís and dinner by Willie Jewellís BBQ. Both are included in the price of the tournament.
