The Church of Saint John the Beloved, 28 Sumter Ave, Summerville, presents the Charleston Virturosi String Quartet in an Easter Concert of Franz Joseph Haydn’s Seven Last Words of Christ adapted for string quartet.
This concert as part of the 2013-14 St. John the Beloved Concert Series on Sunday, April 6, at 4 p.m. at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church in Summerville.

Haydn was commissioned to compose this work for Cádiz Cathedral in Spain. He later adapted it for string quartet.
The Charleston Virtuosi is a local ensemble of professional musicians that mix together in different groupings to perform at events and concerts in a broad variety of styles including classical, folk, and jazz.
