  • Wednesday, April 2, 2014

The fifth annual Bubbly & Brew, sponsored by Lucey Mortgage Corporation, will be held April 10 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Founderís Hall at Charles Towne Landing.

Guests will dine on food and sip champagne, wine, beer from local brewers and an MSH Signature Cocktail. There will be live music by Nashville star Bonnie Bishop. Tickets are $60 per person, if purchased by April 8. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door at $75 per person.

South Carolina currently ranks number-one in the nation for number of women murdered by men Ė more than double the national average.

To help put an end to domestic violence the public is asked to support the efforts of My Sisterís House.

Eighty-four cents of every dollar donated go directly to the programs and services offered by My Sisterís House, the only shelter-based program serving domestic violence victims in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties.

The money raised will continue to help women and children live violence-free by providing victims of domestic violence with shelter, a 24-hour crisis line, employment opportunities, deposits on new apartments, childrenís programs, legal help, individual and group counseling and a brand new start.

For sponsorship opportunities and auction item donations contact Mackie Moore, director of development, at (843) 747-4069 or e-mail her at Mackie@mysistershouse.com.
