Chamber Power Hour to focus on workforce readiness

Workforce Development will be the topic of conversation at the Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce’s Monthly Morning Power Hour on Tuesday, April 8.

The Power Hour, presented by Summerville Medical Center and sponsored by the Summerville Journal Scene and Dorchester School District Two Superintendent Joseph R. Pye, will feature a panel discussion.

Registration and networking will start at 7:30 a.m. followed by the program at 8 a.m. and will be held at the Dorchester School District Two Adult Learning Center located at 1325-A Boone Hill Road in Summerville.

The meetings are open to Chamber members at no charge and $25 to non-members. The power hours are held the second Tuesday of each month at various locations and are designed to inform, educate and engage the community on relevant issues and topics effecting Summerville and Dorchester County.
