  • Tuesday, April 15, 2014

Dorchester County Library facilities will be closed Sunday, April 20 in observance of Easter, and on Monday, April 21.

A planned upgrade of library software begins Sunday night and will continue through Monday. While the upgrade is in progress, library software will be down. There will be no access to online accounts or the library’s online catalog until the upgrade is complete.

The closing may also impact some online resources.

The library is holding its spring staff day Monday to prepare staff for software changes initiated with the upgrade. All facilities will re-open on Tuesday, April 22 at 9:30 a.m. No fines will be charged or materials due the days the library is closed.
