Hundreds of kids enjoyed an egg hunt, games, and a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny at the inaugural Bunny Brunch held in Summerville’s Azalea Park Saturday. The Journal Scene and Katelyn Aldridge, State Farm Insurance, sponsored the new event.

“We had a fantastic turnout at our inaugural Bunny Brunch!” Journal Scene Marketing Director Chris Zoeller said. “I want to thank everyone involved in making this event so magical for the kids.”

The event featured multiple stations offering activities from Bottles N’ Brushes and Summerville Pediatric Dentistry.

The Great Egg Hunt sponsored by MUSC’s Children’s After Hour Care featured 5,000 toy-filled eggs hidden in Azalea Park. To top off the fun, Alex’s Restaurants provided a free picnic brunch.
