In an effort to help young ladies and gentlemen become more self-confident and courteous, The Charleston School of Protocol and Etiquette, Inc will offer its Annual Summer Etiquette Camp. Civil Savvy Camp will be conducted on June 23-27 at The Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms. The five-day camp is a fun and exciting way to help young ladies and gentlemen, ages 11 to 15 achieve important leadership and social skills. Topics of instruction will include: manners are the basis of confidence, confidence is the foundation of leadership, positive attitudes, behaviors and beliefs, trust changes everything, self-respect that enables respect for others. Social skills to include: smart phone etiquette, proper dining skills, social conversation, introducing yourself and others, handshaking, eye contact, tone of voice, extending and accepting invitations, thank you notes, telephone etiquette, skill of listening, poise, posture and much more. Afternoon sessions will introduce the students to the fundamentals of social dancing, public speaking and image development.
The cost of $1,195 per participant includes morning and afternoon classes, daily lunch tutorials, handouts, guest speakers, pool party, an afternoon tea and a graduation dinner.
A 10 percent discount applies when two or more from the same family enroll.
