Barbara Ann Adams McQueen

Mrs. Barbara Ann Adams McQueen of Chesterfield, SC, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014. She was 73.

Services were held on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at David’s Grove Baptist Church, with interment at the church cemetery.

Mrs. McQueen was born April 28, 1940 in Chesterfield, a daughter of the late Brad and Mary Lee Roscoe Adams. She was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and was a homemaker, wife, and mother.

Mrs. McQueen was a member of David’s Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, shopping, and taking care of others. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Bradley Adams, and two sisters, Margie Raffaldt and Thalia Wilson.

Surviving are her husband, William B. “Bill” McQueen of the home; three daughter, Laurie (the Rev. John) Gulliksen of Hahira, GA, Susan (Henry) Heatley of Cross, and Joyce McQueen of the home; five grandchildren, Lauren (Kenny) Brady, Kelsey Gulliksen, Maggie Heatley, Katie Heatley, and Stephen Heatley; one great-grandchild, Colton Brady; three brothers, Donnie Adams of Morven, NC, Joel Adams of Chesterfield, and Kenny Adams of Pageland, SC; and a sister, Brenda Grimm of Kannapolis, NC.

Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home of Chesterfield (www.mrcfuneralhome.com) is serving the McQueen family.
